Art is a narrative, and mine has been a thirty-five-year conversation with rhythm, color, and soul.
From my early years capturing the raw energy of Jazz and Blues legends to my 25-year retrospective in the Netherlands, my work has always been about the “messy” truth of the moment. I believe in the beauty of the unfinished—the watercolor study that leaves room for the viewer to breathe and the story to evolve.
Now, based on the island of Nevis, I have turned my eye toward the heritage of the Caribbean. The Easton Indigo Collection is a series of mixed-media and watercolor studies inspired by the historic dockyards and the vibrant, sun-drenched life of the islands.
